On TV or at the cinema
I've been watching the Towering Inferno. I've seen it a few times before but watching that tower burn is always exciting!

One of the guys on the Hawkwind forum recommended Bad Boy Bubby on a "psychedelic films" thread. An Australian film I'd never even heard of but I ended up watching the whole thing in chunks on YouTube that night. Disturbing and hilarious in equal measure, kind of like a technicolor version of David Lynch's Eraserhead but even weirder. Well worth a look.
Mrs Nizz bought me the DVD of I'm Not There, the film based on characters representing different aspects of Bob Dylan's life or song characters, a few weeks back. Very good with great performances from all the leads, especially Cate Blanchett as mid-60s Don't Look Back/Electric/Motorcycle Accident Bob.

It was so bizarre I had to watch it twice! But that's just me... The last movie I saw was Dark Knight which i thought was awesome! And I'm not really a comic book movie guy.

Looking forward to The Dark Knight. At first I thought it was going to be based on the Alan Moore graphic novel, which I loved, but even though it isn't, everybody I know who's seen it liked it a lot, and Batman Begins was great.
