"In a surprise move, Eddie will make a solo guest appearance in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia with Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Trey Gunn, and Pat Mastelotto on Saturday, August 30 at the open-air "Creation of Peace" festival. This will be EJ's first appearance on stage since his guest walk-on with Jethro Tull at the New Jersey Meadowlands in 1989. Fittingly, he will also play a number with Fairport Convention - one of his early influences - a band that includes former Tull bassist Dave Pegg.
On Wednesday, September 3rd, The same King Crimson lineup (including EJ) will appear at a so-called "King Crimson Festival" at the B1 Maximum Club in Moscow."

Eddie's got some CV, that's for sure.
I was on Fish's website today, where his blog spoke of meeting Tony Levin backstage at NEARfest, where he was appearing with LTE. That led me to Tony's site, where his online diary talked about Eddie. Sometimes it seems everybody in prog knows each other...
