The last one I went to was at a pub in Tuam, to see Dangermouse (that's Dan and Gerry from Stonelakes with Mouse McHugh)

Last night I went to see a band called Magic Christian that featured Clem Burke of Blondie on drums and Cyril Jordan of The Flamin' Groovies on guitar. They have a psych/garage type sound and were stunning! (yes, the played "Shake Some Action") Also on the bill were the A-Bones that included Miriam Linna (an original member of the Cramps) on drums. Cyril Jordan joined them onstage for a manic version of the Groovies "Slow Death". Total garage savagery! Have a look: www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5flrzxe5bk

I don't go out much anymore. I did go to see Alice Cooper last year on my birthday. His voice was fine, even better than in the early seventies when he was drinking a lot.

On Friday I went to a free concert at the BBC centre in Manchester. The BBc Philharmonic were playing The Tale of Tsar Saltan suite by Rimsky-Korsakov and Swan Lake act III by Tchikovsky.
