Any Gentle Giant fans here? they have to be one of the most exceptional bands to ever hit the planet; and what was recorded was done live. All multi talented-You had to see them to believe it.
I dont have one particular recording I could say is my favorite, they are one of those very few that I love everything. but I guess I would recommend "Live at The BBC" for an intro- Its flawless and representative of their work

I don't remember much about the concert. My state of mind then, as it was... Yeah, I saw them a few times around that time, too. In New York City at the Academy of Music on 14th Street. Other than being blown away by their incredible talent, I don't remember too many details, either. For the same reason... The Academy of Music was a great venue for concerts in the 70's, after the demise of the Fillmore East. I got to see alot of fantastic shows there, ranging from King Crimson, ELP and Yes to the Patti Smith Group and the Ramones. They have since torn it down and now it's an Electronics Superstore. Oh well...
